"It's always good to ah, win the ashes test match"
After the Bulldogs won their first flag since 1954 the players were rightfully excited and emotional, after receiving his premiership medallion, western bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore was filmed having a chat with some supporters on the boundary, the footage was posted to Facebook, and has since been shared more than 1.3k times.
Explaining the desire that he showed in the final quarter, "Libba", a moniker he inherited from his father Tony, explains that he just won the Ashes, making his hundred smacking a six over the boundary.
Whatever sport he though he was playing, the young star has etched a moment in history with his group of team mates showing courage and determination that Aussie sport is built on, no matter which code or what contest.
